Stop Toxic Spray at Schools and Playgrounds

We demand that the City/State eliminates the usage of toxic weed killers such as RoundUp/Glyphosate and find healthier alternatives. The courts have found that the chemical GLYPHOSATE in RoundUp has been responsible for causing cancer. Children naturally spend more time close to the ground, which means they may be more likely to inhale, ingest and otherwise be exposed to dangerously high levels of glyphosate on the grass or in the soil. Our schools and parks need to be a safe environment for our children and carelessly spraying toxic chemicals to control a week is not the best interest of our future. Overgrown weeds may be unsightly but cancer is a killer.
